Artists Showcase
Over 100 Western North Carolina artists came together to create spaces that showed how to live with craft. Representing all media including glass, wood, ceramics, metals and textiles, teams of artists collaborated to design rooms that inspire your own creativity. Dining rooms with tables, chairs, buffet, place settings and glassware; bathrooms using handcrafted cabinetry and ceramic sinks; bedrooms featuring handmade wood or iron beds, woven bed coverings, hand loomed rugs and hand blown light fixtures all illustrate the beauty and functionality of designing and living with handcrafted objects. The Expo invited visitors to meet the artists, learn about their techniques, and purchase or commission work.
